Freight broker TMS pricing in 2026: what vendors actually publish
Most TMS vendors hide pricing behind a demo. Here is what five of them publish, how each one charges, and what a 100, 200 and 400 load a month brokerage would pay with BrokersEdge.
Published entry prices
Starting prices straight from each vendor’s pricing page. Plans differ in users, load caps and what is included, so compare the details, not just the first number.
| Vendor | Published starting price | How it is priced | Free trial listed |

What BrokersEdge costs at your volume
Take the cheapest combination of plan and overage for your monthly loads.
| Loads a month | Best plan | The math | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | 50-load plan | $150 + 50 extra loads at $3.00 | $300 |
| 200 | 150-load plan | $400 + 50 extra loads at $2.50 | $525 |
| 400 | 400-load plan | $950 flat | $950 |
| 600 | 400-load plan | $950 + 200 extra loads at $2.00 | $1,350 |
Aljex lists unlimited shipments from $699 a month for five users plus a one-time setup fee, so very high volume teams should compare it closely. Every BrokersEdge plan includes every feature.
A checklist of costs to ask about
- Setup and implementation fees. Some vendors charge a one-time fee on top of the monthly price.
- Seats and logins. Per-user and per-login pricing grows as your team does.
- Load or shipment caps. Ask what the overage rate is and whether it is published.
- Integration fees. Load boards, factoring, tracking and accounting connections can be extra.
- Contract length. Ask about renewal terms and cancellation.
- Trial. Can you run real loads before you commit?
